Dixon Sessions:
Hemingway & Sam Fraser
After a fantastic session with A No Good Woman & The Kingsnakes supported by the delightful Sheila Lord, the Dixon Sessions are back with one more gig before a summer break. Sunday 6 July will see Hemingway taking to the stage with Sam Fraser offering excellent support.

HEMINGWAY, the sensational indie rock/pop band, hailing from Southend and Leigh-On-Sea, will deliver an electrifying performance that showcases their incredible talent. Known for their catchy melodies and dynamic stage presence, band members Jordan, Sam, Josh, and Ed promise to engage and entrance the audience with new tunes and old favourites.  Long-time fans and those new to their sound will love the vibrant energy and infectious tunes, slipping into the genres of folk-rock, americana and country.

Support comes from rising star Sam Fraser. Sam’s music confronts all the emotions that would otherwise be kept under wraps and undiscussed. Sam describes his music as ‘a cost-effective alternative to therapy’ and this has been a constant driving force since he started writing at the age of 12. Music has always been his coping mechanism, and he hopes that as more people begin to hear what he has to say that the songs in his catalogue can help others heal as well.

Dixon Sessions showcase brilliant live bands from Southend. Previous acts have included Basharan Band and Mr Pockets with support from Volume 11 and Out of the Mist. The intimate setting of the Dixon Studio allows audiences really to listen and appreciate the music and musicianship on show.
