Spotlight on Michael Conway, who lives in Rochford, Essex
Michael Conway, although originally from Port Talbot, South Wales, now resides in Rochford. He graduated from The Arts Educational Schools London in 2007. His theatre credits include three years in the West End production of Jersey Boys at the Prince Edward Theatre, Abe/CC La Rue in the UK tour of Flashdance The Musical, Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof with the New London Cast at the Savoy Theatre, and Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance at Arts Educational Schools London.
Alongside his theatre work, Michael has provided backing vocals for a wide range of artists including Michael Ball, Alfie Boe, McFly (at V Festival and the Isle of Wight Festival), and The Stylophones at Sphere Studios in London. In 2019, he served as vocal organiser for BBC’s Children in Need, featuring Adrian Lester and The Beatbox Collective.
More recently, Michael has been touring internationally with two vocal groups: The 4Tunes, a quartet of West End performers, and the renowned A Cappella group The Magnets, supporting artists such as Kaiser Chiefs, Rick Astley and Gregory Porter at the ARIAS.
In 2025, Michael was announced as the new tenor in vocal harmony group and original X Factors stars 'G4', and has recently completed a 39 date fully sold-out G4 Christmas tour of Cathedrals across the UK.
