Lindisfarne present

THE BOYS NEXT DOOR
by Tom Griffin

Wed 19th - Sat 22nd Nov
Dixon Studio, Palace Theatre, Westcliff

Lindisfarne Productions, not a group to rest on their laurels, are presenting an American play from the 1980’s, The Boys Next Door, written by Tom Griffin.

The Boys Next Door is a controversial play set in America in the 1980’s about four men with learning difficulties living in a group home near Boston.

Jack is the kindly social worker who looks after them as they navigate their way through social pitfalls and as result there are many hilarious antics they get up to just dealing with the everyday problems of life that people take for granted.

Norman works in a doughnut shop and is shy in relationships, Arnold struggles with his obsessions, Barry has a troubled past that he still carries with him, whilst Lucien sees the world in a very different way than everyone else.

This unusual play about life and relationships is both heart-warming and heart-breaking.

An amateur production presented by Lindisfarne Productions in association with Broadway Licensing Global a Concord Theatrical Company.
