About Jacquee
Jacquee has lived in the area for thirty years, and is a writer and Supporting Artiste appearing in many well-known TV programmes, such as The Bill, Holby City, EastEnders and others. In addition, she is a familiar figure on the local amateur dramatics scene; she has acted, and directed many productions over the years for various local drama groups. She trained at the famous Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Deciding that an actor’s life was too insecure, she worked as an Information Officer for a large multinational, and later worked as an Office Manager for Social Services in Southend, leaving to study for an English Degree as a mature student.
Jacquee loves writing and is a published author. She has written a well-received gothic novel, ‘But a Walking Shadow,’ and an adventure thriller set in Cambodia, ‘Where There’s Danger,’ and is currently working on a romantic novel. She also writes articles for magazines, enters TV quizzes and has won poetry competitions.
Amateur dramatics runs in the family as her husband Malcolm directs and both her daughter Nathalie and son Chris Storozynski have appeared in productions. Chris also sings in the local heavy metal band Forged in Black. She is shortly due to start rehearsals for Lindisfarne’s Relative Values and is getting ready to direct Southend Shakespeare’s comedy ‘Home and Beauty, ‘by Somerset Maugham.
Jacquee really enjoys helping out feature writer Kim Tobin with reviews and interviews.
