Kim has lived in Southend on Sea for over 28 years and having worked in London for 13 years, now works part time in Southend in order to spend more time with her family and also giving her the opportunity to pursue her love of theatre; whether that be as a performer, writer or, indeed, as an audience member.
Over the years she has belonged to numerous drama groups in the Southend area, including the Threelance Theatre Company, The Players Theatre Company, Lindisfarne Players and is currently with Southend Shakespeare Company.
She has completed acting courses at The Poor School in London’s Kings Cross and also at the renowned drama school, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She has also attended workshops run by Michael Corbidge who is the voice coach for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Kim is never happier than when she’s rehearsing or involved in producing a play. She has also been involved back stage with jobs such as Stage Manager, Props Mistress and Prompt for various productions over the years and has also done the odd bit of film work for friends' self funded projects from time and time.
