THE WORLD’S MOST SUCCESSFUL MUSICAL THEATRE GROUP
COLLABRO
‘HOME’ UK HEADLINE TOUR
Cliffs Pavilion, Southend on Sea
30th October 2017

Featuring special guests Carly Paoli and Philippa Hanna
Plus local choirs for each show
The world’s most successful musical theatre group, Collabro will embark on their third headline tour next month taking in twenty nine-dates starting in Liverpool at The Philharmonic on Tuesday 24th October culminating on Saturday 2nd December at Harrogate International Centre.

2017 has already been a huge year for Collabro.  Fresh from completing a summer tour with Cliff Richard; Jamie Lambert, Michael Auger, Matt Pagan and Thomas Redgrave have performed across the globe to standing ovations, from the US, Japan and Canada and released their third studio album ‘HOME which reached the Top 10 in U.K. Album chart.

Their third headline tour will see them joined by very special guests classical singer Carly Paoli and acclaimed British singer-songwriter Philippa Hanna. Plus it has just been announced that a local choir in each city will join Collabro to perform a selection of much loved tracks.

Carly Paoli has been delighting audiences throughout the world, shared stages with Andrea Bocelli, José Carreras and Elaine Paige, and can count the Pope and Prince Charles amongst her fans. Collabro said,

“We are thrilled to welcome the very accomplished Carly Paoli as Special Guest on our 2017 ‘Home’ UK Tour. Her voice is stunning and we cannot wait to perform some huge songs alongside her this autumn.”

Philippa Hanna is an acclaimed British singer-songwriter, based in Sheffield, UK. Recorded in Nashville, her new album 'Speed Of Light' tackles the challenges of life head-on, offering listeners a message of hope in the face of adversity. Since her 2007 debut, Philippa has released several studio albums, an EP and a live DVD, and published two autobiographical books. As one of the most sought-after acoustic performers in the UK, she has opened tours for acts including Lionel Richie, Anastacia, Leona Lewis, Wet Wet Wet and of course Collabro.

On the local choirs aged between 8 and 16 years old Collabro said “We are so excited to be performing with 29 amazing children’s choirs from across the UK as part of our ‘Home’ Tour. As children, all four of us were members of local stage schools or choirs and the training and grounding it gave us certainly contributed to our journey into becoming Collabro. We’re really pleased they’re aboard our #CollabroChoirs project and we can’t wait to sing with them all”

It will also be a chance for some of the group to go back to their roots.  Jamie’s old secondary school will take to the stage in Gateshead, Michael and Matt’s former stage school’s join them in Guildford and Carlisle respectively and Carly will have some of her former pupils from Chesterfield take to the stage in Sheffield. Collabro’s  show at the prestigious London Palladium sees them joined by West End and Broadway Star Michael Xavier’s choir from his highly acclaimed school, ‘Musical Theatre Masterclass’  – a musical extravaganza!

Collabro’s 2017 HOME UK tour is a far cry from their meeting in 2014 above a pub in London. This is where they met for their first rehearsal. Only a month later did they go on to rouse the whole of Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith into a standing ovation during their first ever public performance of Stars in their first audition for Britain’s Got Talent. Having won their semi-final heat with over 63% of the votes, they then won the overall competition with one of the biggest majorities ever and subsequently signed to Simon Cowell’s label Syco, becoming label mates with the likes of One Direction, Little Mix, Susan Boyle and Il Divo.

In the three years since the competition, Collabro have released a number one debut album “Stars”, and their follow up album “Act Two” peaked at number two in the charts in the summer of 2015. They have performed at the Royal Variety Performance, twice on Britain’s Got Talent including the ten-year grand final compilation of past contestants, and have become enormously successful internationally.

For fans of film and musical theatre this tour is not to be missed. Tickets for Collabro’s Home UK Tour are available now at WWW.GIGSANDTOURS.COM | WWW.TICKETMASTER.CO.UK | 0844 811 0051 | 0844 826 2826
