Lindisfarne Productions have been staging comedies at the Dixon for over 10 years now and are most famous for producing farces by Ray Cooney who has also been the group's patron since 2015.
Their latest production is the farce, Don't Dress for Dinner, postponed from 2020 due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
Bernard (Jez Battersby) is planning a romantic weekend with his chic mistress Suzanne (Tracey Ferriello) in his charming converted French farmhouse, whilst his wife, Jacqueline (Carol Hayes), is away.
He has arranged for a cordon bleu cook Suzette (Samantha Anderson) to prepare gourmet delights, and has invited his best friend, Robert (David Green), along too to provide the alibi. It’s foolproof; what could possibly go wrong? The cast also consists of Adam Mayhew as George, Suzette's partner.
