Following an enforced sabbatical due to COVID, The Essex School Of Screen Acting is thrilled to announce that they are, once again, OPEN!

The Essex School Of Screen Acting has a new and innovative approach to camera acting. They run a weekly evening class for adults aged 18 and over at all levels in their screen acting journeys. They are committed to training actors of all ages in a creative, educational and fun environment and with very affordable fees. The school believes that acting training should be available to everyone regardless of their financial circumstances.

The entertainment industry is currently experiencing a huge upsurge in television and film production in the UK. With companies like Netflix, Apple, Disney and Amazon making multiple films and television shows in the UK, there’s never been a better time to start a screen acting experience.
Classes will he taught by Cameron Jack who has worked both nationally and internationally in Television and Film. With dozens of screen credits to his name and a CV boasting Guy Ritchie and Christopher Nolan among others, Cameron can be seen sharing the screen with Glenn Close, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy and Jason Statham among others. Cameron can be seen in ‘Wrath Of Man’, Guy Ritchie’s new smash hit film, due for release in the UK soon. Cameron is over the moon to be getting back to teaching again and told us, “We loved opening The Essex School Of Screen Acting and were gutted when COVID stopped us in our track.”

He added, “We are ecstatic to be opening again. There are dozens of theatre and performing arts courses here in Essex, but nothing quite like ESSA. The TV and Film industry is truly booming all over the UK with multiple movies and TV shows being shot here. Our screen acting course is perfect for anyone looking to dip a toe into the screen acting industry, and is also really useful for actors looking to polish up their screen acting skills.”

Jasmine Raymond, a 2019 student enjoyed her time on the course.  Here's what she had to say...

“If you're anxious about tackling auditions for screen or simply just want to get back in the swing of things. I would highly recommend The Essex School of Screen Acting. They made me feel immediately comfortable and felt I had a safe space to learn and make mistakes. Each session I took away something. And really appreciated their honest conversations about their experiences and how the industry works.”
