We popped along to the Cliffs Pavilion to meet the girl band, Mon Amie, whose harmonies on the X Factor completely wowed the judges and earned personal praise from Mr Simon Cowell.

Jason Donovan hand-picked the girls to support him on his 34 date tour, Ten Good Reasons, and as well as performing on 22nd March, they also will be returning to Southend's Cliffs Pavilion on 5th May.

We talked to Izzy, Abi, Monifa and Honey about how they formed their friendship at performing arts school, Italia Conti, and subsequently formed their band.  We also chatted about their experiences during X Factor, boyfriends, touring and had great fun introducing them to Southend's Rossi ice-cream parlour.  They also showed off their fabulous harmonies with an impromptu rendition of En Vogue's Don't Let Go which was truly a goose-bump moment.  They even let us crash their soundcheck with Abi's amazing vocals almost breaking all the glasses; and of course we took a few sneaky pics!
