X Factor Winner Sam Bailey Set for 2017 UK Tour
2013 X Factor winner and gold selling artist Sam Bailey is once again taking to the stage to showcase her powerhouse voice in a 2017 national tour. The Sing My Heart Out tour will be the first since her sell-out headline tour of early 2015.

The Sing My Heart Out tour will coincide with the star’s upcoming album of the same name. It will be the follow up to Sam’s number 1 album The Power of Love which was released in 2014. She has been working tirelessly on the new album and has travelled to LA to record tracks with the acclaimed music composer and icon Steve Dorff. Since her return from LA Sam has spent countless hours in the studio. She has also teamed up with former A1 band member and singer/songwriter Ben Adams who has been working with Sam on many of the songs for the album including the first single Sing My Heart Out.

Sam went from life as a prison guard to storming into the music industry when she was crowned the winner of the X Factor. The reasons behind the competition lie with Sam being adamant that she will never get carried away in the industry by forgetting her humble roots. Sam empathises with so many of the struggling artists out there that are looking for their big break and believes the competition will help to support them on their journey to success. She is not reluctant to admit that she wouldn’t be where she is today without the push that the X Factor gave her, and now it’s her time to give someone else the push they need.

Following her X Factor win, Sam’s hit single, Skyscraper, became the UK Christmas No.1. The following March, Sam’s album was released to high praise and later in 2014, she embarked on her solo sell-out tour. So far in 2016, Sam has been busy on stage playing a main role in the UK tour of the award-winning Broadway show CHICAGO.

With fans across the world eagerly awaiting new music, Sam’s new material and tour is highly anticipated and once again set to be a sell-out show.
Sam has also announced an exciting line-up of special guests for her forthcoming tour.

Acclaimed singer/songwriter NIKKI LOY (click to read our feature on Nikki) will be opening for Sam, with her “smoky, sensuous and soulful” voice showcased in an acoustic set.  Nikki has supported a host of stars such as jazz great Janette Mason, Americana artist Lauren Prichard, Decca Artist Krystina Myles and Irish pop folk singer Wallis Bird.  She has also co-written for a well-known Saatchi & Saatchi ad campaign, and the award winning video for Nikki’s single Can I Keep You was chosen by the BBC to be part of their Music Video Festival, screened across the UK and also reaching the final of the UK Songwriting Contest.

Over the past few months, Sam has been running competitions to search for local talent to support her on her tour, by inviting singers in each area to apply to be her special guest for one night.
Megan was selected by Sam to perform at Cliffs Pavilion

14-year-old Megan’s parents realised she had an outstanding voice when she was just 7 years old, and enrolled her into their local Hollywood Performing Arts School.  Megan aspires to write her own music one day and is currently learning piano and guitar.  Last year Megan sang at festivals in Snodland and Dartford, and has shown incredible confidence performing in front of large audiences.
Megan is honoured to be supporting someone as talented as Sam Bailey and knows it will be a memory that she will treasure.

Finally, Sam is delighted to be joined on stage by community choir Rock Choir

“I’m so happy to be performing with a choir on my tour.  I love the depth a choir can add to live vocals and I want to put on an amazing show for my fans.  I’m so excited for everyone to see what we have planned!”
– Sam Bailey
