SAM LAVERY plays LONDON – Thousand Island on Thursday 25th January 2018!
Following The X Factor, 2017 has been a busy and exciting year for Sam working in the studio on her music, co-writing and recording her second single release, entitled ”Beat Of You”, following on from her super radio friendly, well received, debut track ‘Walk Away’.   ‘Beat Of You’ is again with the same writing and production team as ‘Walk away’.

”I said from the start Sam Lavery had huge potential.  Sam released her first single (Walk Away) independently. Very decent and catchy”  - POP JUSTICE

‘Walk Away’ attained very good exposure as Radio stations naturally picked up on the song (with over 100 radio plays,) alongside National Press coming on board.

For the last few months Sam has been in extensive training to compete in ‘The Great North Run; (10th September 2017).  The run was for Metro Radio’s, Cash For Kids, alongside of course many celebrities including Davina McCall, won of course by the Mighty Mo Farah.

Fitness is a very big part of this stunning Brunette’s life. She has taken part regularly in charity events, training 6 days a week. A total adrenaline lover!  In love with extreme sports like Paragliding, Gliding and Scuba Diving in Caves….It’s truly a passion.

On the Live front, Sam has been solidly performing throughout this year including:

* Daily Mirror Pride Of Britain Awards
* A stellar performance at MTV alongside Example, Louisa and Diversity
* Special guest dates with Matt Goss of Bros
* Performance at the mega Party In The Park Newcastle.

This has now culminated in Sam Lavery announcing her very own solo January 2018 UK Tour, see tour dates below:

Wednesday 24 January                  BIRMINGHAM – The Sunflower Lounge
Thursday 25th January                  LONDON – Thousand Island
Friday 26th January                         STOCKTON ON TEES – The Georgian Theatre
& Saturday 27th January                 NEWCASTLE – Think Tank

Tickets available from  www.ticketweb.co.uk  and  www.seetickets.com

Sam says “I am so excited for my tour not only to show everyone the new music I’ve been working on, but to meet everyone who has supported me throughout my journey so far!   The atmosphere is going to be electric and I can’t wait to get on stage in front of everyone.”

X FACTOR

After reaching the final 7 contestants on the X Factor (with Simon Cowell as her mentor.) Simon wrote on his card 'Sam Lavery’ as his projected winner in the judge’s pre choice envelopes. All 4 judges gave her a standing ovation for her barnstorming version of Michael Jackson’s ‘Earth Song’.

Sharon praised her saying “You are unbelievable! In this X Factor you are the only one that has a strong authentic voice, Very, Very, Good!"

Nicole Scherzinger named Sam "A Warrior Princess!" saying "Your voice has fire behind it".

Louis Walsh had awarded Sam the Wildcard vote to judges Houses and Simon (with Sam’s new stripped back look) said "I have heard things in your voice that I have not heard before”.

On her Final TV performance on X Factor Simon told Sam, not to worry as” Ella Henderson has had great success from not winning and indeed Jennifer Hudson who came 7th in American Idol has gone on to have a glittering career.”
Early 2017, saw Sam performing every night on the X Factor Live Arena Tour around the UK and Ireland, she loved it!

Sam started singing at the age of 10, when during a school trip to Holy Island, she took part in a talent contest, (which was a random spontaneous idea) and from then on, “I realised how much I loved singing!.  It felt natural and I loved every second. From then on I've never stopped!"

Sam lives in a small village in county Durham (Her Mam originally from a small pit village called Thornley and her Dad 'of Irish decent' hails from Consett).

In 2014, Sam became winner of The Soundwave Music Competition.

This then led on to a couple of years entering many different competitions and open mike nights mainly in the North East, eventually becoming YGT and Music Magazine upcoming artist in 2016.

Now 2018 is heralding Sam’s first solo live tour, Sam Lavery is tipped to become the UK’s next exciting pop star.

Very Exciting times ahead for this Very talented young lady.
