Having trained at Drama Centre London and having worked extensively as an actor, Sam Clemens decided to pursue a career as a director and writer. Sam is one half of the successful directing duo, The Clemens Bros. Sam's films include Gone Fishing, The Lighter , Dress Rehearsal and the multi award winning Surgery. The Still, a feature film script written with his father, Brian Clemens OBE, is currently in pre production. Sam also works as an acting teacher for both adults and children. Samuel has most recently made his directorial stage debut of Strictly Murder.

Sam talks to Southend Theatre Scene's, Kim, about directing his late father's play; how he knows that his dad would be thrilled with the brilliant cast of the play and what the future holds for the production once the tour is over!
