The 2nd Annual Southend 24 Hour Improvathon plays at the Trinity Football and Social Club running continuously from Friday 4th October at 7pm to Saturday 5th October at 7pm. There will be 12 two hour consecutive episodes of mystery, adventure, comedy and romance await! And it’s all completely improvised on the spot!
Episodes start on odd numbered hours: 7pm, 9pm, 11pm, 1am, etc (all through the night). The 1-3pm episode on Saturday 5th October will be family-friendly. For all other episodes the guideline is 14+.
A £20 weekend pass allows you to come and go as you please throughout the entire event.
Single episodes will cost £5 and all subsequent episodes cost £2 (these don't have to be consecutive). All ticket types are available in advance or on the door.
There will be a licensed bar, themed cocktails and food available to purchase throughout.
The Southend Improvathon is a fundraising event for Southend Mencap and Hope.
The theme of or 2nd annual improvathon is the SS Galileo – a futuristic luxury space cruiser. Like Star Trek had a space fling with Benidorm! Join the weekend party as adventurous and hilarious capers ensue. Audience dress up encouraged.

The Southend 24-hour Improvathon 2019 features local favourites: John Oakes (Radio Essex), Ross McGrane (Little Smash Comedy), Siobhan Casey (BRA improv), Lee Tearrell (Laughter Academy), the cast of Oh Yes It Is! The Improvised Pantomime and many more!
Directing the Southend 24-hour Improvathon will be Ali James (Olivier Award winning Showstopper! - The Improvised Musical and Mischief Theatre’s Magic Goes Wrong).
